A STEWARDSHIP THOUGHT
Mellingers newly formed
Stewardship Committee presented
the congregation with a challenge
during the Lenten season this year.
We asked for a total donation of $800 for our "Money
for Missions" campaign and you responded with the
total of $1,603.36. Thank you for your generosity! The "challenge was doubled when we teamed the men vs.
the women. This made the giving fun while we were
helping others. The surprise reward for meeting our
challenge was the breakfast for everyone Saturday,
April 19th. This program was a small scale example of
the rewards which God has planned for us to give
generously to His kingdom. He promises to meet our
needs if we demonstrate our faith and trust Him. As a
congregation we have shown that we can give a few
extra dollars each week and how quickly that adds up
and can help our budget. I challenge you to trust God
with your finances and experience the rewards that He
has in store for you.
