Youth Group/Gathering
Important Dates
** Community Meal at Bethany UCC in Ephrata - Thursday, January 26. Sign up sheets are in the church lobby.
** Gathering Meeting - January 29th - 6:30 PM. We will be discussing finances and the Mardi Gras Meal and passing out recipes.
** Souper Bowl Sunday - February 5 - The Youth Group will be collecting cans of soup for Ephrata Area Social Services as well as monetary donations for the New Orleans Community Center Food Bank. Members of the youth will be needed to collect $$ and cans.
** Mardi Gras Meal - February 19 - The congregation is invited to this free meal prepared and served by the Youth
** Isaac's Night - Tuesday, March 27th.
Mardis Gras Meal
On February 19th the congregation is invited to attend a Mardi Gras meal hosted and prepared by the Youth Group. The meal will include gumbo, chicken, King Cake and more. There will be no charge for this meal. However, you will have the opportunity to purchase shares of Stock in our youth to support their trip to New Orleans in July 2012. Look for sign-up sheets in January.
Coin Jar
The Coin Jar has returned and is at the back of the church. All donations will help support the Youth trip to New Orleans in July 2012. So, if you still have some change left after the holidays, please put it in the jar, which will be at the back of the church.
